The success of ground-state density functional theory today is by no small measure due to the application of exact conditions derived by Mel Levy and John Perdew. Here we consider some of their exact conditions as well as other exact conditions pertinent to the time-dependent case in developing memory-dependent functionals for non-perturbative dynamics in TDDFT. The performance of these new functionals will be demonstrated on a number of model systems.
