Recently we have been investigating the use of microwave heating methods for the rapid fabrication of grafted layered perovskites as well as exfoliated perovskite nanosheets. Reactions with a variety of hydroxyl or amine terminated organics can be carried out where microwave methods reduce reaction times from days to hours.  In this presentation, the synthesis and characterization of both bulk grafted double-layered perovskites and nanosheets will be presented and variations in reaction parameters and interlayer structure highlighted as a function of the organic groups.<br/>
