Antibody-directed enzyme prodrug therapy (ADEPT) has potential as an effective and highly specific modality of treatment for many different cancers, especially those that are difficult to target such as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). In this poster we will present our recent progress towards the synthesis of a methotraxate analogue which can be achieved in less than 10 steps. The addition of a cyclopentane ring to the phenyalanine moeity has finally been successful and we will present our new synthetic strategy.
