With the advent of the Digital age, the amount of data generated, stored and shared from Chromatography Data Systems in analytical laboratories is on the rise. In fact, it is expected that half of the total data generated from these Laboratories will be stored in the cloud by 2017. This data is complex and needs to be securely stored, processed and analyzed for information that can be used by organizations.<br/>Recently, Shimadzu has attracted a lot of attention from academia, industry as well as government. Shimadzu has recently announced LabSite™, a new and unique ‘cloud-based’ reprocessing capability for students, teaching-assistants, and instructors in academic institutions using Shimadzu instruments and workstations<br/>We will introduce LabSite™, the revolutionary Shimadzu cloud solution. LabSite™ allows each and every students to gain unfettered access from anywhere, anytime, using any computing device, and within seconds to an almost exhaustive/complete set of industrial-grade software for analytical and testing instruments, all without having to install software on the your local device. Raw data can never be lost and data is easily shared between labs. It also allows acquired data from Shimadzu workstations to be uploaded (automatically or manually) to a private Shimadzu-managed set of servers, incorporating the full version of the identical software loaded on the instrument workstation.<br/>Registered users securely access their data and full data-manipulation capabilities of Shimadzu workstation software from the cloud as if they were using the instrument workstation. Allows users to generate new output data from the Shimadzu software and then easily share that data (read or read- write access) with other users.<br/>
