Despite the significant development in Pd Catalyzed cross coupling leading to the 2010 Nobel prize, cross coupling involving organolithium reagents is a significant challenge. Discussing the Murahashi-Feringa coupling new developments from our lab including ultrafast cross-coupling under mild conditions and low-E-factor cross coupling reactions will be presented.
