A series of twenty five small copper coins issued under the reign of Gondophares I, who established the Indo-Parthian kingdom, was analyzed for elemental composition via energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF). Percentages of copper were generally high, which was not unexpected. However, significant small amounts and traces of other elements were present as well. Results and findings will be presented.
