Two-dimensional white-light (2D-WL)  spectroscopy is an ultrafast nonlinear spectroscopic technique that utilizes a white-light supercontinuum (400 nm-1400 nm) for both the pump (excitation) and probe (detection) of a sample. Utilizing a supercontinuum rather than a single wavelength allows the ability to uncover potential pathways between multiple electronic states with femtosecond time resolution. The resulting spectra provide insight into coupling of electronic states, mapping of electronic transitions, and the dynamics of the system during the evolution time. Herein, we provide a different approach to the design of the 2D-WL setup, which utilizes an interferometer, to produce the 2D-WL spectrum. Using this setup, spectra of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives are collected in order to test the efficacy of this new 2D-WL design.
