The use of 3D printing in higher education can advance the learning outcomes of a chemistry classroom and engage students in further understanding materials taught in a classroom setting. The introduction of 3D models is revolutionizing chemistry education as it allows students the ability to visualize molecules and their 3D spatial arrangement. Many printers deposit thermoplastics or UV resins and others fuse powder particles together with liquid binders or lasers. 3D printing offers an affordable alternative for material production rather than purchasing modeling kits or other manufactured products; however there are limitations to printing due to the separation of students from the manufacturing process. As 3D printing becomes more accessible to educational institutions, the number of educational implementations of 3D printing has grown significantly in past years. This poster summarizes reported uses of 3D printing in chemical education, their implementations, and curriculum context.<br/>
