From April 6-10, 2017 eight Cuban chemists from the University of Havana participated in a workshop with members of the Analytical and Chemical Education Divisions on the campus of the University of Utah.  Common research areas in both fields, potential projects between the ACS and the Cuban Chemical Society (SCQ), and scholarly exchange possibilities were discussed with the hope that future collaborations and connections would ensue.  This talk will describe the workshop details, how interactions between the ACS and SCQ have proceeded over the last year, and further possibilities for future ACS and SCQ interactions.
