In 2014, the chemistry department at the University of New Orleans decided to create two new courses that would be accepted as a general education science elective for non-science majors.  Because of the phenomenal success of Breaking Bad (bringing chemistry back into the mainstream) and the success of many other chemistry professors using movies to teach chemistry as either a section of a course or for special seminars, our department focused on the chemistry of movies and TV for the first course.  This course (Lights, Camera, Action: the Chemistry of Movies and TV) was developed to engage and excite non-science majors about science.  In this presentation, the creation and evolution of course content and how it is disseminated using videos will be discussed.  An example from the Game of Thrones unit of the course will be discussed.  Also a discussion of how videos are used to both teach students chemistry concepts and assess student learning will be presented.  Lastly, future developments with this course and feedback from students will be presented.<br/><br/>
