The Chemistry Club at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is a dedicated ACS Student Affiliate.  We seek to uphold the mission of the ACS by promoting chemistry and science on campus and in our local area.  Beyond this, the SIUE Chemistry Club believes in the importance of volunteer work and giving back to the community.  We work to inspire interest in chemistry through hosting events which include demonstrations, webinars, professional tours and speakers.  In addition, we provide volunteers to other local organizations/events (ex: Illinois State Fair) to encourage chemistry and science learning of campus as well.  All of these activities involve roughly 50 active members made up of both undergraduate and graduate students who work to benefit the campus and the community.  Overall, the SIUE Chemistry Club has been a successful organization that has kept the ACS vision at its core.<br/> <br/>
