In this study, we report the aptamer-based electrochemical biosensor platform utilizing a surface modified electrode with nature-derived 3D structured materials and a pair of aptamers for signal amplification. The modified electrode was fabricated using the electrodeposition technique after the nanostructured materials deposited. Electrochemical characteristics and the structure of the modified electrode was confirmed by cyclic voltammetry and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. Surface modified electrode showed the increased surface area than an unmodified electrode. And then the Modified electrode was functionalized with thiol labeled primary aptamer. Upon binding of its target, peroxidase-conjugated secondary aptamer was employed as a signaling probe. This dual aptamer-based sandwich-type electrochemical platform allowed a highly sensitive and selective response to the target protein, which makes this system practically useful as a point of care diagnosis system.
