A carefully designed laboratory curriculum is essential to enhancing students' engagement and appreciation of organic chemistry. The undergraduate organic chemistry sequence offered at Purdue College of Pharmacy was redesigned to highlight applications of organic chemistry in pharmaceutical sciences. In this presentation, I will share snippets from my ten-year journey of introducing new exercises in the organic laboratory, and with refining existing exercises.
