A learning object was constructed with a series of audiovisual materials on the topic, “acid - base equilibria", to be used asynchronously by students of the course "General and Qualitative Chemistry", first course of the Chemistry career at University of Costa Rica (UCR). The material was submitted to a qualitative evaluation by the students, in its form as well as the presentation of the contents. Also, was evaluated what students learned through problem resolution on this subject.
