Phase change enthalpy and thermal conductivity are two important factors for phase change materials. A novel graphene@porous carbon support for phase change materials (PCMs) have been synthesized by simultaneous carbonizing a graphene oxide@MOF-5 precursor to solve this problem. Three-dimensional graphene provides contineous heat transfer paths and realize rapid heat conversion from PCMs to the outside. Hierarchical structured porous carbon with high porosity and large specific surface area is capable for absorbing PCMs. The thermal conductivity of obtained shape stabilized PCMs is increased by 102.6% and the power capacity is close to pure PCMs. This study provide insights into the designation of advanced supports for phase change materials.
