The photodissociation dynamics of OCS near 214 nm for the S(1D2) channel was studied using velocity map ion imaging. We investigated the CO(v=0,1) vector correlations using method described recently by Wei et al. In addition, we have decomposed the CO rotational dis- tribution into two states, 21A'(A) state and 11A"(B) state of OCS. The contribution of the 11A"(B) state was experimentally determined to be 2:5 times smaller than previously reported by trajectory calculations reported previously for CO(v=1) (W. Wei, C.J. Wallace, G.C. McBane, and S.W. North J. Chem. Phys. 145 024310 (2016)). The CO(v=0) product channel was also reanalyzed and the 11A"(B) state contribution was determined to be 1:7 times smaller than previously reported. Experimental rotational distributions were decomposed at 223 nm, 230 nm, and 248 nm into 21A'(A) and 11A"(B) contributions. The 11A"(B) fraction as a function of wavelength for the CO(v=0) product was used to decompose the rst absorption band into individual contributions from the 21A'(A) and 11A"(B) states. The 21A'(A) state was shifted +684 cm-1 and the 11A"(B) state was shifted by -256 cm-1.
