This presentation will cover the key attributes of storytelling and how to use these attributes to enhance an organization’s culture of safety. All well told stories are successful if they leave a lasting impression. Unfortunately, in the world of science, we live and work with facts which can be dry and don’t always inspire or incite wonder.  By applying effective storytelling methods, this can help the development of a culture of safety. The development of a culture of safety begins with effective communication to your staff. This development also requires looking at incidents in their context and seeing them as a process and not as one-off events.  By understanding the attributes of storytelling, this will increase our effectiveness and increase our capacity to incite wonder and strive for excellence.<br/>
