The crystallinity of synthetic elastomers can be altered through monomer choice and is known to directly influence their mechanical properties. Highly crystalline materials are often brittle and hard above the glass transition temperature (T<sub>g</sub>) with amorphous polymers presenting as softer with rubber-elastic properties above the T<sub>g</sub>. Clearly, the chemical structure of the monomers and polymers controls this and herein we report our studies into the effect of stereochemistry to that end.
