<br/>From past few decades, the development of sustainable and environmentally benign catalyst has been a prime motive of chemists. In this regard, metallic nanoparticles have been the subject of intense research because of their catalytic properties, which may differ considerably from the bulk metals. This development has led to the design of catalysts with superior performance that takes the advantages of nanoparticles with high surface-to-volume ratio. Unfortunately, free nanoparticles are difficult to handle and recover in catalytic reactions. Also, fast consumption of metal reserves and environmental disposal of metal is a serious concern nowadays. So, it is an important challenge to improve the stability, recyclability, and catalytic selectivity of metal nanocatalysts. Considering this, we have synthesized magnetic carbon nanoreactor as a heterogeneous support for the immobilization of metals and metal nanoparticles. Synthesized nanoreactor consists of multi-functional double-layered shell, large void space, tailored dimensions, and high surface area. The obtained materials have been characterized using various physico-chemical techniques such as FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDS, BET, VSM, ICP, XPS and elemental mapping. Furthermore, the applications of the synthesized nanocatalyst have been examined for the oxidative bromination reaction of various heteroarenes. Excellent catalytic activity and ease of magnetic recoverability make our catalyst beneficial in terms of industrial and environmental perspective.<br/>
