The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Department of Chemistry and Department of Environment, Health and Safety are committed to teaching and promoting a Culture of Safety. This begins with the first undergraduate lab course in Chemistry and continues throughout the entire educational process to a PhD. UNC Chapel Hill has a written health and safety program with clearly stated goals and objectives to promote safe and healthful working environments for all persons associated with the University. University Leadership emphasizes an integrated systems approach and safety education and training. This presentation will focus on safety education and training on our campus.
