Germany offers outstanding and progressive chemistry research facilities all over the country that combine high level education with cultural diversity and modern lifestyle in the heart of Europe. An excellent occasion to get connected to this network of history, culture and science is the exchange that is organized by GDCh, NESACS and their younger chemists’ committees JCF and NSYCC. The presentation will provide not only an insight into the exchange that started in 2001, but also into the opportunities for foreign candidates who are interested in master, Ph.D. studies or a postdoctoral stay in Germany. Various possibilities comprise positions in universities or research institutions like the Max-Planck Society and can also include cooperation with the chemical industry.
