This talk will highlight work in our lab on single-chain nanoparticles featuring dynamic covalent linkages. The materials, in crude analogy to protein chemistry, are synthesized through the intra-molecular cross-linking of single polymer chains in dilute solution. In this talk we will showcase the effect dynamic and reversible intrachain linkages have in these materials and discuss some of the design parameters that are essential in effecting this process.
