The Chemical Angel Network (CAN) is an organization of angel investors who came together to source, evaluate, and invest in early stage chemical companies. CAN encompasses several unique elements. It is a nationwide angel investing network and the only network with a chemical sector focus (i.e., businesses with a significant chemistry component.) CAN offers chemists, chemical engineers, and allied professionals a unique opportunity to participate in the growth of companies in the chemical and related industries by investing both intellectual and financial capital. The network is able to draw upon the members' unique experience and knowledge base to provide technical due diligence, mentoring, contacts, and general subject matter expertise. Finishing its fifth year of operations, this talk will highlight why the Chemical Angel Network has become the smart choice for early stage chemical companies and highlight some of the recent successes.
