La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ based ternary carbonate composite hollow fiber membrane was developed via melting impregnation. The permeability on carbon dioxide is greatly enhanced due to the existence of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ, a mixed ionic-electronic conductor(MIEC), and the carbonate phases. This perovskite oxide based carbonate composite hollow membrane could greatly promotes surface CO2 transform into CO32- and also improve the subsequent ionic transport process. To further understand the mechanism, the effect of O2 on carbon dioxide permeability was also analyzed under fuel gas conditions.
