Highly innervated tumors lead to more aggressive disease. Using a model of human papillomavirus-induced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, we have discovered that innervation is induced by small, tumor released vesicles called exosomes. Moreover, we found that exosomes with a high EphrinB1 content potentiate tumor innervation. EphrinB1 interacts with many proteins. A list of potential binding partners was identified using BioID. A cluster analysis revealed some of the proteins contribute to neurite outgrowth. The focus of this project was to validate if any of these proteins were binding to EphrinB1 and then determine if the associated proteins potentiate exosome-mediated tumor innervation.<br/>
