Broadband 8-26.5 GHz rotational spectra of allyl chloride, isoamyl acetate, and ethoxyethanol were recorded in a room temperature spectrometer. 2-D microwave experiments were performed in order to simplify the spectra of each molecule. In some cases, the strong field coherence breaking (SFCB) technique developed by the Zwier group at Purdue was employed in order to isolate the conformers or isotopologues of the compound. The adaptation of the SFCB method for use in the room temperature spectrometer and the application of other methods for efficient simplification of complex spectra will be discussed.
