Graphene doped with Ceramic nanoparticles is fabricated as an efficient anode material of large energy capacity lithium ion battery. The mixture of edge functional graphene oxide (EFGO) suspension and a polysiloxane water-base emulsion is lyophilized and then pyrolyzed up to 1000 °C to form ceramic nanoparticles at graphene sheets. In this composite material, ceramic nanoparticle function as the high-capacity materials, while the graphene sheets play the role as conductive matrix to absorb the expansion and condensation of ceramic during charge and discharge. The morphology of the graphene ceramic composite material is investigated by Scanning electron microscope (SEM). Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic charge/discharge (GCD) of the electrode was tested by assembled in lithium ion half cells.
