Allenes have been becoming more and more important due to their physical, chemical, and biological properties.<sup>1-3</sup> Recently, we have been focusing our attention on developing new efficient methodologies for the synthesis of optically active allenes such enantioselective allenylation of terminal alkynes, coupling of propargylic derivatives, dynamic kinetic transformations of 2,3-allenol derivatives, and etc. In this lecture, I would like to discuss some of our most recent advances on enantioselective synthesis of axially chiral allenes.
