Tetrahedral angles (φ) and internal angles (γ) of the iminocyclitols 1-4, with α-D-ribitol stereochemistry, are calculates from the carbon chemical shift, using relationships between the energy and golden ratio. Values of the energy shown dodecahedron (&lt; 1.618) or icosahedron (&gt; 2.618) distribution of the polyhedral dihedral angles, with significative variation from 1 to 4. Relationships with Euler character are proposed for every atom of the ring: 1/En = cosACn, A = φ or γ, n = 1, ½, 2, in attempt to calculated accurate tetrahedral angles.
