We report on a research guided undergraduate physical chemistry integrated laboratory experiment. The experimental aspects as well as the goals and outcomes of investigating the derived physical properties of a variety of binary liquid mixtures are determined. The results of a study of physicochemical properties density, viscosity, and refractive index of the binary mixtures of Styrene with Chloroform, 1,4-Dioxane, Dimethyl Sulfoxide, N,N-Dimethylformamide, and Tetrahydrofuran have been determined. The deviations in the refractive indices and viscosities of the mixtures were determined. Excess molar volume, viscosity deviation, and refractive index deviations were also calculated for the binaries. A Redlich−Kister nonlinear parameter fit of dependences of the density, refractive index, and viscosity for the binary mixtures versus the mole fractions of Styrene and their standard errors are reported.<br/>
