There is a tremendous amount of negative news out there concerning climate science and the harsh reality of our changing climate. With this reality as a motivator, it is often quite difficult to promote climate science literacy. In this presentation, we focus on solutions to climate change as an introduction to the topic in an effort to minimize fear fatigue. The discussion centers around eCLEAR activities that start with topics from the book DRAWDOWN where there are short descriptions of current solutions that are being implemented around the globe. Once the learner is drawn into the issue of climate science, a deeper dive leads to a more thorough understanding of climate science resulting in an elevation of climate literacy which is essential for all citizens.
