This presentation will describe the preparation of inorganic perovskite nanoparticles with functional polymer ligands and matrices. Relative to perovskite nanoparticles with conventional small molecule ligands, placing polymer ligands at the nanoparticle periphery offers opportuntiies to realize superior dispersion in polymer matrices and access to energy transfer processes to advantage for light emitting layers. Moreover, appropriately functionalized polymers can be used directly for the synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles, offering a simple and effective technique for polymer functionalization of the particles.
