The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Detroit Mercy has integrated the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry into laboratory curricula, but our Chemistry Club had not implemented these principles into our student chapter until this past academic year. By attending green chemistry symposia, incorporating green chemistry into our outreach events, and making green chemistry more visible in our Department, the Detroit Mercy Chemistry Club has become a green chemistry award winning chapter.<br/>
