Applying an effiicient gold-catalyzed oxidative coupling of alkynes into peptide chains, we suppose to link the i and i+4 sites to help constrain the alpha-helix decondary structure during the process of soild phase peptides synthesis. The gold-oxidative coupling condition has already been studied in our group, and the alpha-helix structure is more challenging to our condition because of the functional groups on the side chain. Hereby, we are studying on this field to explore and break the limitation of our mothod.
