The Union University SMACS chapter strives to cultivate leadership and promote science through education and demonstration. We are an outreach-based organization with the goal of sharing our passion for science with the university and the Jackson community. Members participate in a wide range of programs and activities that enhance their college experience and prepare them for successful careers. The chapter has been involved in events including planning philanthropic concerts, performing demos at local schools, packing Thanksgiving baskets, and organizing various social activities, which are described below.<br/>
