The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a unique opportunity for the green and sustainable chemistry community to develop innovative curricula and pedagogy for chemistry educators. The goal of this symposium workshop is to bring together members from the chemistry education community to discuss and explore innovative ideas for integrating the SDGs into chemistry education. Facilitators will work with the participants exploring a variety of topics including: connections between the UN SDGs and the chemistry enterprise; multidisciplinary topics and collaborations; and the importance of systems and life cycle thinking.
