Hsp90 C-terminal inhibitors were investigated based on promising data from preliminary studies and their potential application to cancer chemotherapy. Novobiocin and biphenylcyclohexane systems and analogues thereof were proposed to exhibit more potent inhibitory activity compared to the lead scaffolds. Consequently, synthetic pathways were designed and developed, and the inhibitory effects of the new compounds determined, all of which will be provided in this presentation.<br/>
