Several small organic compounds have been reported to be intercalated into FeS/FeSe layered structure to improve and alter the superconductivity and magnetism in these compounds.&lt;span style="font-size:10.8333px"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;However, the synthetic methods in these reports limit the number of candidate intercalate molecules as the typical method requires solvothermal synthesis. In our previous work, we proposed hydrothermal method as a more universal approach to help intercalate organic compounds based on the co-intercalation of protons. In this poster, we present several different amines intercalated into FeS or FeSe successfully, such as p-phenlyenediamine which is solid in room temperature and would not be able to be intercalated through solvothermal method in 120 <sup>o</sup>C. Successful amine intercalations are characterized through powder x-ray diffraction and electron diffraction to understand the structure. Magnetic susceptibility and isothermal magnetization measurements were employed to understand how the intercalation affects the superconductivity in FeSe and FeS. Although the synthetic method affords only powders, resistance measurements were performed on annealed pressed pellets of each intercalated compound. In all, we report a number of amine intercalated FeS/FeSe phases through a novel hydrothermal route which extends the number of possible intercalate molecules through stabilization of proton co-intercalation and <i>in-situ</i> formation of tetragonal FeS/FeSe layers.
