Using d<sup>10</sup> coinage metals with heavy atom ligands, luminescent complexes with high quantum efficiencies are yielded. The reaction of Au(I), Ag(I), and Cu(I) precursors with the dithiophosphonate complexes lead, to coordination oligomers/and or coordination polymers. These products were further reacted with diphosphine ligands to obtain mixed ligand products. These complexes possess blue, green and red luminescence at room temperature and/or 77K. The synthetic details as well as characterization with XRD, NMR, UV/Vis/NIR, solid-state diffuse reflectance, FTIR, and photoluminescence spectroscopies is reported.<br/>
