Discovery synthesis groups play a critical role in accelerating drug discovery projects at AbbVie.  They also span the gap in subsequent route optimization and scale-up campaigns, crossing the bridge to process chemistry and development sciences.  Enabling chemistry efforts from the Centralized Organic Synthesis group will be discussed, demonstrating the impact of a discovery synthesis group on a diverse collection of projects.  This will include asymmetric route development for the discovery and scale-up of clinical candidates ABBV-2222 and ABBV-3221 from the Cystic Fibrosis program and vignettes from Hepatitis C and Immunology projects.<br/>
