In recent years, the Jarvo group has developed stereospecific cross-electrophile coupling reactions catalyzed by nickel. Our recent advances in cross-electrophile coupling reactions have been employed on a variety of substrates that would be typically challenging to activate in an electrophilic cross-coupling. Recently, I have focused on engaging mesylates, using nickel catalysts, in order to generate strained rings that are typically difficult to access. Mechanistic studies in addition to a broad application of this method will be presented.<br/>
