Allenyl- and allylboronic acids were used to asymmetric allyl and allenylboration of hydrazonoesters. This method is suitable for synthesis of chiral α-aminoacids with high stereoselectivity. The presentation invoves further examples for new methodology to use organoboronic acids in asymmetric synthesis.
