Passivating systems in galvanostatic or potentiastic control display oscillation of potential and electric current respectively. This behavior originates from negative differential resisitivity NDR observed on the potenial vs electric current dependence known as polarization curve. Our model reproduces polarization curves with NDR for the stationary regime. Here we show that our simulations reproduce potential or current oscillations in galvanostatic or potentiasticmconditions respectively. The advantage of simulations is that we obtain passive layer morphology at a given stage of oscillations periods
