Early career chemists from around the world are tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges: selling the business of genomics and precision medicines, making medicines for some the neglected diseases, and ensuring everyone on Earth has access to clean water, to name a few. The Periodic Table of Younger Chemists has created a seat at the table for younger chemists around the world like this. In this symposium, we highlight some of these “elements” AKA, early-career chemists, to present what brought them to this point in their career and how chemistry has become an important part of their life/career.<br/>
