The use of Fluoride tablet and topical drops containing Sodium Fluoride is a common dental treatment that is used to reverse demineralization and reverse tooth decaying process. Previous research showed FIA to be a fast measurement method for low level fluoride samples. This new study demonstrates the ease of application for these samples, the drops are just mixed with TISAB II and injected into a Flow Injection Analysis system employing an Ion-Selective Electrode as the ion detector. The tables are also simply dissolved in a small amount of pure water and then treated with TISAB II prior to injection. Also the precision of the drop delivery system was evaluated. The values found in both the dental products are reported and compared to label claims.
