A study investigates awareness and attitudes towards nanotechnology among teachers and students from the Arab sector in Israel, revealed that both the teachers and students have a basic knowledge towards nanotechnology. Based on these finding, several activities were developed and applied for both teachers and students from the Arab sector in Israel in order to raise the awareness and knowledge about this an influential field of science. The activities are based on different lab experiments. These experiments are incorporated with basic subjects that are taught by the original teaching curriculum includes, oxidation reduction reactions and the chemistry of hydrophilic and hydrophobic materials. The activities focused on technological and medical applications of nanostructures aimed to provide high-quality undergraduate research experiences to both attract and retain talented individuals.
