Bio-jet fuel synthesis is a promising way to upgrade the value of lignocellulose and contributes to the sustainable development. However, state-of-art bio-jet fuels synthesized is almost single component restricted by pure feedstock used, which has ill-effects on the fuel performance and increases the energy consumed by pure feedstock separation. Besides, water produced in the biomass conversion has deleterious effect on catalyst and prevents further reaction, leading cost increasing. Accordingly, here we explored an efficient catalyzing method for high-performance bio-jet fuel synthesis by making fuel blending from lignocellulosic derivatives mixture. We synthesized polymer-based solid acid (R-x) with super hydrophobicity and initially explored its activity in fuel blending synthesis by the aldol reaction of cyclohexanone with cyclopentaone and alkylation of phenol with cyclic ketones, respectively, where R-x shows better activity than Amberlyst-15, Nafion-212 and Hβ. By characterization, the good activity of R-x is ascribed to the strong acid, big acid amount (1.196-3.208 mmol/g), large surface area (304.2-759.4 m<sup>2</sup>/g) and especially super hydrophobicity which leads R-x good recycling stability in consecutive 5 runs. Then we realized the co-conversion of lignocellulosic derivatives pool using this catalyst. After hydrodeoxygenation, all of C-C coupling compounds are converted to fuel blending with high density and excellent low-temperature properties. This work demonstrates an efficient and energy-saving method to synthesize high-performance jet fuel blending by co-conversion of lignocellulosic derivatives pool using an efficient and universal acid resin.
