American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Chapter at Millersville University is an active group of students committed to fostering university and community interest in chemistry. The chapter is recognized annually by the American Chemical Society for its dedication to activities and services. The chapter activities include sponsoring an annual trip to the ACS National Meeting & Exposition, acting as peer advisors to incoming first-year students, hosting student-faculty social activities, arranging field trips to local industries, and performing safe, environmentally benign and informative chemistry demonstrations. The chapter also plans fundraisers to support the members on their journey to the national meeting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group adjusted to holding virtual events, such as bingo night, scavenger hunt home edition, and Kahoot night with professors. The chapter also hosted a socially distant Adopt-a-Highway cleanup event.
