Catalyst is a Mexican Student Chapter that has been successful due to their adaptability and flexibility in the pandemic situation. When COVID-19 began, we decided to make subdivisions in our organization, such as SciCafe, social network, green chemistry, secretary, and among others. Each subdivision is managed by a "supervisor" who is responsible for the team and the tasks in that area, each team is free to decide the dynamics and activities of their subdivision, so, in this way, each subdivision generates creative and innovative activities for all of our members and for the public that could be interested. We think that the key piece in our chapter is to promote the integration among our members, so we carry out weekly meetings with structured agendas, where we discuss the incoming events and activities according to the Catalyst calendar, and also, we make decisions regarding the chapter. Sometimes we also play some video games or do integration activities to know each other and stay close to our members, so, in this way the meetings does not feel like a common virtual class and feel more like a video chat with friends that do science stuff, which is more attractive. We believe that the most important things to carry out this duty is to be always focused on our goals and keep up the motivation on our members, listen carefully to their needs and concerns, be flexible with their activities and schedules, and never lose sight that we make science because we love science. In summary, we really appreciate our members more as a human and not just as a scientist because they are ordinary persons who do extraordinary things.
