We have recently demonstrated the successful application of tridentate ligands, which incorporate an <i>N</i>-phosphonyl imine group, as supports in the cobalt-catalyzed isomerization of olefins. In this presentation we will describe two new advances in the chemistry of this novel ligand motif: 1) the regioselective hydrosilylation of olefin substrates and, 2) recyclable homogeneous catalysis.
